Love Week '25 

you're invited!

You’re invited to Love Week 2025–our 10th annual community outreach hosted by Valley Family Church to support families across Southwest Michigan. This week is all about sharing the love and hope of Jesus in practical ways with no strings attached.

what is love week?

July 29-31, we’ll be in Vicksburg, Paw Paw and Kalamazoo with a night of fun for the whole family and giving away free groceries, backpacks filled with school supplies, diapers, stuffed animals and more. These events are hosted in partnership with Valley Groceries, our weekly food pantry that provides free groceries to local families every Tuesday.

Each event features:

• Free groceries and fresh produce
• Back-to-school backpacks for kids (children must be present)
• Diapers, wipes, and baby formula
• Toys and stuffed animals
• Inflatables, cookouts, face painting, and more

This year, we’re excited to be able to give away 1,200 backpacks across all three locations. Please note: Children must be present to receive a backpack, and supplies are limited—so come early to get your ticket.

Here’s how YOU can help make Love Week happen:

1. Serve — Sign up to volunteer at one of our Love Week locations. You can sign up in person in the atrium at church or online at one of the locations below. Volunteer spots are limited so register soon!
2. Give — Donate new or gently-loved stuffed animals (collection bins are located in the preschool ministry horseshoe), adopt a backpack on Sunday, July 20th or 27th, or simply make a financial donation toward these efforts here.
3. Spread The Word — Help us get the details of this event out to your local community. Share the information on social media, send an email to your school and put up flyers around town.
