love week 2024
Love Week 2024 kicks off July 30 through August 1 for the ninth year where Valley Family Church will give free groceries and back-to-school backpacks to anyone in need across these three locations: Vicksburg, Paw Paw, and Kalamazoo.
what is love week?
Love Week partners with Valley’s food pantry Valley Groceries that takes place every Tuesday to distribute free groceries to the community, no strings attached. Throughout Love Week, hundreds of volunteers from Valley will distribute free groceries, produce, and back-to-school backpacks filled with school supplies for kids in kindergarten through 12th grade as well as diapers, formula, and stuffed animals. Each event will have free inflatable games, a cookout, face painting, and other fun activities for those who attend. This year, over 1,000 backpacks will be distributed throughout the week. Backpacks are available to children in kindergarten through 12th grade; children must be present and a limited amount is available at each community so attendees are encouraged to arrive early.

Be The Hands & Feet of Jesus
All it’s going to take is all of us! There are two ways that you can get involved to make Love Week possible – first, you can serve. Choose a location to volunteer at and sign up in the atrium throughout July or online (below). Second, you can donate. Drop off new or gently-loved stuffed animals in the atrium throughout July or make a one-time financial donation toward the event to help offset the cost.
