2023 church builders campaign
This May, we officially kicked off our Run Farther Faster 2023 Church Builder Campaign which will run from June through December of 2023. Our goal is to raise $500,000 in this campaign to run farther faster, together!
Here’s the thing: 2023 is the first year that we’re back to running full throttle and re-launching all of the events, ministries and outreaches that we did pre-covid as a church. On top of that, we’re launching new ministries this year as well. We’re doing all of these things by faith as our church has changed in size and scope, yet feels stronger and more unified than ever. That’s why we need your help! As we all play our part and give sacrificially, we believe that we can accomplish all of the initiatives God has called us to return to again and start for the first time.
HOW CAN WE RUN FARTHER FASTER TOGETHER?
- REACHING he hurting and hungry through Valley Groceries and our Love Week event.
- RESOURCING believers around the world with the preaching of the Word and The Basics With Beth global teaching outreach.
- RESTORING fathers and sons through the Prime Path discipleship program as well as marriages and families through pastoral care.
- RECLAIMING Biblical literacy through our Valley Nights discipleship classes, Valley Groups and men’s and women’s ministries.
- REFRESHING pastors and ministry leaders through the Boom Network ministry events.
- REVIVING the next generation through weekly ministry and large scale events in Kalamazoo, Valley Youth JB, Valley Youth and Valley Young Adults.
WHAT WE’RE BRINGING BACK:
We’re bringing back our annual Love Week event in early August to bring groceries and the gospel to different communities in need. We’re going back to our roots and taking kids and students to Center Lake Bible Camp in June for a week of life-changing ministry. We’ve re-launched our men’s and women’s ministries and our Valley Youth JV Sunday morning ministry environment for middle schoolers that was put on pause in 2019.
WHAT WE’RE LAUNCHING:
Within the last seven months of the year, we’re launching a Primal Path discipleship program for fathers and sons that will be absolutely transformative for families, we’re starting a young adults ministry that launches this month with an effort to reach students on the campuses around us with the gospel and help young adults find community. We’re starting Encore, a ministry for Seniors so that we can continue to be a church to grow up in and grow old in.
HOW YOU CAN GRAB THE BATON WITH US
Over the last 32 years, as we’ve worked together and do our part, we’ve seen God do some amazing things through all of us at VFC. This year is no different! So, we are asking you to prayerfully consider continuing your support by grabbing the baton with us and making a new commitment to help financially support these ministry initiatives for the next 7 months.
When you make a commitment, we will provide you with a baton as a reminder of the significance of what we get to do together as we take the faith from one generation to the next. There are four different ways you can partake below:
- Junior Baton - $100
- Church Builders Baton - $1,000
- Kingdom Builders Baton - $5,000
- A gift of any amount
If you’d like to join us this year, you can make your pledge online at our GIVE page under the Run Farther Faster 2023 Church Builders Campaign section where you will see links for you to electronically submit your commitment card(s) to this year’s campaign. Or, by filling out a commitment card from the info center and dropping it off at VFC at our “Run Farther Faster” booth in the atrium. Whether you pledge online, through mail or in person, we will do our part to get the baton to you and your family.
