What will my first visit be like?
Visiting a new church can be intimidating, so let us walk through the experience with you! At Valley Family Church, our first-time guests are VIPs! From the time you arrive in the parking lot to taking your kids to our Kidamazoo program to finding a seat in the sanctuary, we'll meet you and will be with you every step of the way as you desire. After church, we'll have a free gift waiting for you. Our atmosphere is casual, so feel free to dress however you feel most comfortable. We offer two weekend service times to choose from on Sundays at 9am or 11am, so feel free to bring your friends and pack up your entire family to join us! Fill out the form below and we'll have one of our campus guides ready to give you the VIP treatment and guide you to your seat when you arrive. We can't wait to meet you this weekend!
What is a weekend service like?
The weekend services are fun, relevant and loaded with worship, the Word and the power of the Spirit. We like to use creative arts and media to worship and teach the Word including video, music, creative set designs, relevant Bible teaching, and usually just enough humor. Pastors Jeff and Beth pioneered VFC as a husband and wife team and for the past 25 years, they have served together as the Pastors (aka: "mom and dad") of the House. So, you'll either hear a message from God's Word from either Pastor Jeff or Pastor Beth or both! We believe knowing the Lord, going to church and learning God's Word should be a joyful and transformative experience and we do our best to provide an atmosphere for that to happen every service.
Where do I take my kids?
Once you arrive, our VIP team will help you find the Kidamazoo Preschool (Birth-K) or Kidamazoo Studios (1st-4th grade) check-in areas. We make it easy and safe for both parents and kids. We have no doubt, once your kids arrive and get checked-in, they'll have a blast learning about Jesus!
Do you have anything for students?
Absolutely. The Student Auditorium is the place to be for Flex Club and VOX Youth. The Lord is doing something wonderful among our students - they are connecting with God in a real way and their lives are being changed. We offer Flex Club (5th-7th grade) during both Sunday morning weekend services and VOX Youth (8th-12th grade) on Sunday nights at 6pm.
What do you have for adults?
We have a variety of ministries and opportunities that will enable you to learn, grow and connect through our VGrowth Track! If you’re ready to grow in your faith, be strengthened in your beliefs, and meet new people throughout the process, then your next step is to sign up for the Getting a Grip on the Basics course. You can also join or volunteer VCrew and get plugged into one of our small VGroups where you'll meet great people in your same season of life!
