Marketing Coordinator or Director (full-time)

Summary
The Marketing Coordinator (or Director) will lead the strategic marketing and communication of products, resources, events, services and opportunities to a variety of audiences -- and develop content for a variety of platforms (web, social, email, print, video) to help people get the basics, life the life and do the stuff.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead social media strategy

  • Develop and lead email marketing strategy

  • Manage brand websites with regular content and layout updates

  • Manage CRM/campaign automation systems (Ontraport and Mailchimp)

  • Organize and manage testimonials, headshots, logos and other communication files/brand elements

  • Lead creative planning and implementation for campaigns, events, platforms, merchandise, launches, etc.

  • Recruit, develop and oversee staff and volunteers

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills

  • Fun, positive, energetic attitude

  • Clear and effective communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Attention to details and desire to achieve excellence

  • Strong eye for brand aesthetics and balance in video, design, photography, layout

  • Creativity, flexibility and the ability to think strategically

  • The ability to meet deadlines in a fast-pace environment

  • Demonstrated ability to lead individuals well

  • Well-versed in social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and more

  • Experience with Google Drive, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.), Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and websites

The Basics With Beth Video Editor Specialist

Valley Family Church is looking to expand our video team to help with in house projects as well as our television program. If you’re up for the challenge of working hard, working fast and having a ton of fun along the way as we pioneer this ministry and reach our world for Jesus - we’d love to hear from you!

Summary
The Video Editor Specialist will create branded videos to further the mission of the organization. Video content will include: television episodes, The Basics University online courses, social media elements and more.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Create videos for Valley Family Church

  • Edit & package The Basics With Beth TV episodes

  • Create other video elements including video courses for The Basics University, product promos, social media clips, testimonials, commercials, etc.

  • Assist with production on TV & video shoots

  • Create videos for social media, email marketing and website

Required Skills

  • Passion for helping to take the gospel to the world

  • Fun, positive, energetic attitude!

  • Creativity and flexibility

  • Good eye for aesthetic, balance and alignment with organizational brand

  • The ability to meet deadlines in a fast-pace environment

  • Strong organizational skills both personally and over areas of responsibility

  • Strong attention to details and desire to achieve excellence

  • Experience setting up lights, running cameras, capturing audio

  • Experience in Adobe Premiere & Photoshop

  • Experience with After Effects, animation, motion graphics

Valley Kids Learning Center - Lead Teachers

Valley Kids Learning Center is a faith-based, family-oriented child care center serving children from ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. We are dedicated to providing children with a safe, nurturing and loving environment.

We are currently accepting applications for Lead Teachers.  Applicants should have a strong desire to educate and care for young children in a Christ-centered environment. As this is a ministry position, we are seeking a candidate whose values and priorities align with that of Valley Family Church without reservation.

Qualifications:

  • Lead teacher applicants should have a Bachelor or Associates Degree or CDA in early childhood or a related field.

  • Have evidence of emotional maturity and stability.

  • Relate joyfully and sensitively to children.

  • Ability to be flexible, patient and understanding with both children and adults.

  • Possess adequate physical stamina and agility to care for young children.

Duties:

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of each child by responding to their emotional, social, and physical needs as well as their educational needs.

  • Encourage children's involvement in activities.

  • Maintain a professional self-image and project the values of the organization at all times.

  • Establish and maintain good, positive communication with parents and coworkers on a daily basis.

  • Oversee Teacher Assistants to ensure quality standards are maintained.

  • Other duties as assigned.
