VCrew
Join the VCrew! The VCrew is our volunteer team. They love the Lord, enjoy serving and like to have fun. It takes hundreds of servant-hearted people to minister to the thousands of people who attend VFC. If you have a heart for serving or leadership, we want and need you!
There are plenty of opportunities to serve! Click here to see these volunteer opportunities, including: kids or students ministry, traffic, ushers, security, info center, housekeeping, office, worship, audio, lighting, video, web, small groups, guest services, cafe, bookstore and a whole lot more!
Another great aspect about joining the VCrew are the friendships that evolve. Each of the ministry teams have developed their own culture for fun, prayer-support and get-togethers. One of the best ways to meet people in a large church is by getting involved. We welcome you to join the fun.
Get a Grip Classes: The way to get involved on the VCrew and begin volunteering is to become a participant rather than a spectator by taking our "Get a Grip 101: Basics" class and then if you'd like to get involved in leadership in an area of ministry, take our "Get a Grip 201: Serving" class. Here's a little information these classes. For more info, click on the class.
Get a Grip 101: Basics
As soon as you're ready, the first step to joining the Vcrew is taking our "Get a Grip 101: Basics" class where we introduce and/or remind you of the basics of our faith. This class will ignite or reignite your faith! We use the popular "Getting a Grip on the Basics" workbook to cover important topics like: How to be Sure You're a Christian, How to Talk to God, How to Experience God's Love and Forgiveness, How to be Filled with the Spirit, How to Grow, How to Get Involved as a Member at VFC and more.
Get a Grip 201: Serving
When you're ready to take the next step, grow in your faith or become a leader at VFC, jump into our "Get a Grip 201: Serving" class and expand in your ability to serve the Lord. We use the "Getting a Grip on the Basics of Serving God" workbook to cover things like: The Heart of a Servant, Understanding God's Org Chart, How to Get Promoted in God's Kingdom, Identifying Your God-Given Gifts and more.
