Tools to Help You Grow

We want to empower you to grow in your walk with the Lord! Every good tool box has the standard tools - hammer, screwdriver and a wrench. Every Christian needs some standard tools in their toolbox, as well. We offer a variety of ministries, programs, resources and tools for helping your roots to go deep in God.

Here are a few standard tools we recommend...

Attend the Weekend Services - Make a decision to be a regular attendee during our weekend services. Bring your whole family! You'd be surprised how many times the Lord will answer a question, or give a piece of wisdom or a needed Scripture during the weekend message. The Lord knows what you are facing and He finds a way to customize the messages to meet you right where you are at. When people become regular attendees on the weekend, they often find the answers and wisdom they needed! We encourage those of you who are new to VFC to take the 12-week Challenge. Attend VFC for 12 weeks in a row and if you don't see noticeable change in your attitudes, heart and life; then maybe VFC is not the church for you; but if you do see God at work in your life, then continue to plug into all that He is doing here. Weekend Series

Take "Get a Grip 101: Basics" and "Get a Grip 201: Serving" - The Christian life without a foundation is one of ups and downs. When we do not have a solid grip on the Word; we experience the defeated, roller-coaster Christian life. This is not God's best for any of His children. We highly recommend you learn the basics and/or refresh yourself in the truths you already know. There is something powerful and life-changing about digging into the Word and strengthening your spiritual foundation. Our "Get a Grip" classes are designed to do just that. (These classes are also the best way to dig into the Word and find out what we believe at VFC and to hear the heart behind our vision and mission. They are also prerequisites for serving at VFC and/or for attending the EPIC School of Ministry.) Get a Grip Classes

Get in a Group - If you want to study the Word with a group of people around a topic of interest; then, groups are the place to be! Groups are the best way to meet new friends in a large church. We offer a variety of Life Groups, Freedom Groups, Interest Groups and Social Groups. Groups
